David graduated in electronics at engineering school ENSEIRB-MATMECA in Bordeaux, France, with an image processing specialisation, then deepened this topic by graduating at engineering school Télécom ParisTech in Paris, France.
With this background in image processing, he worked 5 years at CEA (french Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission) as a research engineer in remote sensing. His subjects of interest are interpolation and time series, applied to Synthetic Aperture Radar images.
Since 2020, he works as a software developer in the Support Team at DESY, where he develops the Helmholtz Imaging CONNECT platform (fullstack) and supports Helmholtz Imaging scientists. To date, he worked on image problems ranging from bubble detection to High Dynamic Range (HDR) for microscope imaging.
