The Helmholtz Imaging Conference returns in 2025, this time taking place from June 25-27 in Potsdam. Open to scientists from all Helmholtz research areas, the event is designed for those involved in imaging research or utilizing imaging techniques in their work. Our keynote speakers:

  • Robert Haase is a bio-analysis expert at Leipzig University. He developed GPU-accelerated tools like clEsperanto and CLIJ, advancing biological image processing efficiency.
  • Laura Waller is a professor at UC Berkeley and an expert in computational imaging. She pioneered advancements in phase retrieval and Fourier ptychography, revolutionizing microscopy and optical imaging.
  • Manuel Guizar-Sicairos is a physicist at EPFL and PSI, specializing in computational X-ray imaging. He co-developed advanced ptychography and nanotomography techniques for nanoscale 3D imaging in fields like neuroscience and battery research.
