Getting Started with OMERO: A Hands-on Workshop

Helmholtz OMERO is a new cloud-based open-source resource for storing, visualizing, and analyzing complex scientific image data. It helps researchers manage image metadata, collaborate across virtual organizations (VOs), and integrate analysis tools in a centralized and scalable environment.

To help you get started, Christian Schmidt (DKFZ), Riccardo Massei (UFZ), and Michele Bortolomeazzi (DKFZ) will host the first online workshop on July 17, 2025 (limited to 25 participants).
