Join the HIDA PhD Meetup 2024, an exclusive opportunity for doctoral researchers at Helmholtz specializing in Information and Data Science to engage with researchers across the Association. This event serves as a platform for sharing research findings, exploring methodologies, expanding networks, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

HIDA encourages docotoral researchers within the Helmholtz Association to leverage this gathering for fruitful discussions with peers from other Helmholtz Centers. Here’s what you can expect from the two-day meetup:

• Discover the latest research projects of your fellow doctoral students.
• Engage in discussions on data science methods and tools.
• Share insights from your interdisciplinary research experiences.
• Explore strategies and best practices for research and publications.
• Connect with potential future collaborators.

The meetup, scheduled over two days at the HIDA office in Berlin, ensures convenient travel arrangements for all participants. You’ll have ample time for networking and training to deepen connections with your peers.

Sessions

During registration, take advantage of the chance to participate actively in on of two sessions:

• (Recycled) Poster Session: Present your research methodologies or data science methods through recycled posters, fostering discussions with peers from diverse backgrounds
• Bar Camp: Join this participant-driven session on day 2, where attendees collectively shape the agenda. Bring forth questions, challenges, or innovative solutions related to data science, interdisciplinary research, or your PhD journey
